Brow Styles

Microblading
Microblading is a permanent makeup technique that uses a handheld tool to create fine, hair-like strokes that mimic the appearance of natural brow hairs. This technique is best for clients with normal to dry skin who want a subtle enhancement rather than a transformation.
Microblading can help improve shape, fill small sparse areas while maintaining what you naturally have. During your consultation, we'll determine whether your skin type and goals make you a good candidate for microblading.
Best for: Normal to dry skin, natural and subtle brow enhancement, clients with existing brow hair.

Powder Brows
Powder Brows, also known as Ombré Powder Brows, are one of the most popular permanent makeup services available today. This machine shading technique creates a soft, pixelated effect that resembles lightly filled-in makeup or tinted brows while still looking natural once healed.
Powder Brows are highly versatile and can be customized from soft and subtle to more defined and polished depending on your desired look. They are often an excellent option for oily skin, mature skin, sensitive skin, and clients who want longer-lasting definition.
Best for: Most skin types, oily skin, mature skin, those who want a fuller brow, low-maintenance beauty.

Combination Brows
Combination Brows blend the best of both worlds by combining realistic hairstrokes with soft shading throughout the brow. This technique creates added dimension while providing more fullness and definition than microblading alone.
Combination Brows are often recommended for clients who want a natural appearance with a little extra density or those who have sparse areas that would benefit from both hairstrokes and shading. The result is a balanced brow that looks polished while still maintaining softness.
Best for: Sparse brows, uneven brows, clients wanting both texture and fullness.

Nano Brows
Nano Brows, sometimes called Nanoblading, are an advanced permanent makeup technique that uses a machine and a single needle to create ultra-fine hairstrokes that closely mimic natural brow hairs. Unlike traditional microblading, Nano Brows are performed with a machine, allowing for more precision and less trauma to the skin.
Nano Brows can create incredibly soft, subtle, realistic results and are an excellent option for clients who love the appearance of hairstrokes but may not be ideal candidates for traditional microblading. This technique is growing in popularity because it offers a natural appearance while allowing for more customization across different skin types.
Best for: Clients wanting realistic hairstrokes, clients not suited for microblading, subtle natural results.

Who Is a Good Candidate for Permanent Makeup Brows?
Permanent makeup brows can be an excellent option for busy moms, professionals, gym-goers, and anyone looking to simplify their daily beauty routine. Brow tattooing may also benefit individuals with sparse brows caused by overplucking, aging, thyroid-related hair loss, alopecia, or naturally thin brow hair.
Whether you're looking to save time each morning, create more symmetry, or restore the appearance of fuller brows, techniques such as Powder Brows, Nano Brows, Combination Brows, and Microblading can be customized to your unique features, skin type, and goals.
Could Permanent Makeup be the answer for you?
Could you relate?
If you sweat your brows off when you swim or work out
You spend too much time doing your eyebrows
If you have no idea how to use brow makeup
If your brow hairs are non-existent
If your brows are over plucked or had a waxing accident
If you want to feel more confident looking in the mirror
Permanent Makeup might be for you!
Not sure which would be best for you, take our fun quiz below.
Brow Mapping, Symmetry & Creating Balance
One of the most common concerns clients have is whether their brows will be perfectly symmetrical. The truth is, most natural brows aren't perfectly symmetrical to begin with and neither are our faces.
You may have noticed that:
-
One brow naturally sits higher than the other
-
One brow has more hair growth
-
One brow is longer, fuller, or denser
-
One side of your face is more expressive
-
One brow lifts more when you smile or talk
-
One brow has a stronger muscle pull (what I call the "Rock's eyebrow")
These differences are completely normal and something I see every day. That's why my goal isn't to create identical brows. My goal is to create balance, harmony, and a shape that complements your unique facial features.
In fact, I can map and measure two brows using the exact same measurements and they can still appear different because the face itself is not perfectly symmetrical. The eye shape, muscle movement, brow bone, and facial structure on each side all influence how the brows appear. This is where brow mapping becomes so important.
Before every permanent makeup procedure, I carefully map your brows and work with you to create a shape that aligns with your features, natural brow growth, and personal preferences. You'll have the opportunity to see the design, provide feedback, and approve the shape before any tattooing begins.
You'll never be surprised by your brow shape.
The best permanent makeup results aren't created by forcing perfect symmetry. They're created by designing brows that bring balance to the face and look natural from every angle. As we like to say:
Brows are sisters, not twins.
And honestly? That's exactly how God intended them to be.

Permanent Makeup Brows for Men
Yes, Men Get Permanent Makeup Too
Permanent makeup isn't just for women. Many men experience concerns such as:
-
Sparse brows
-
Patchy brows
-
Overplucking from previous trends
-
Scars within the brows
-
Uneven growth
-
Thyroid-related hair loss
-
Alopecia
-
Naturally light or thin brows
The goal isn't to create perfectly sculpted brows or a makeup look. The goal is to restore what nature, time, genetics, trauma or hair loss may have taken away.
What Makes Men's Brows Different?
Men's brows are typically designed differently than women's brows. When working with male clients, we focus on creating results that look:
✓ Natural
✓ Undetectable
✓ Masculine
✓ Age-appropriate
✓ Consistent with existing brow growth
We aren't trying to create a highly defined "instagram brow." We're focusing on enhancing density, improving symmetry, and helping the brows appear fuller and healthier while maintaining a natural masculine appearance.
Why I Typically Recommend Nano or Powder Brows for Men
While every client is different, many male clients have:
-
Thicker skin
-
Oilier skin
-
Larger pores
-
Coarser hair growth
Because of this, I typically recommend Nano Brows or Powder Brows rather than traditional Microblading. These techniques generally heal more predictably, retain pigment more consistently, and provide softer long-term results for many skin types. The technique recommended will always depend on your skin, existing brow hair, and desired outcome.
Will People Be Able to Tell?
This is the question almost every male client asks.
The answer: Not if it's done correctly.
Most male clients aren't looking for "better brows." They're looking for brows that simply look like their own. The goal is for people to notice that you look healthier, more rested, or more balanced—not to notice that you've had permanent makeup or an "eyebrow tattoo". The best compliment is when nobody realizes you've had anything done.
Common Reasons Men Choose Permanent Makeup
-
Filling in sparse areas
-
Restoring brows affected by hair loss
-
Improving symmetry
-
Camouflaging scars
-
Creating more facial balance
-
Looking more polished without daily maintenance
-
Restoring confidence
Whether you're a professional, athlete, public-facing business owner, or simply someone who wants to spend less time worrying about your appearance, permanent makeup can be a subtle solution with long-lasting results.

Existing Brow Tattoo? Let's Talk.
Not all old permanent makeup needs to be removed.
One of the most common things I hear is:
"I already have my brows tattooed. Can you work over them?"
Maybe. It depends on what's currently in the skin.
Some brows can be refreshed. Some can be corrected. Some need to be lightened first. The only way to know for sure is to evaluate your existing work.
A Brow Refresh May Be Right For You If...
Your previous permanent makeup has faded significantly and you still like the shape.
In these cases, we can often refresh the color and bring life back into the brows without starting over.
Brow Correction May Be Right For You If...
Your brows have healed an unwanted color, such as gray, blue, purple, red, or orange.
Or maybe the shape isn't quite right anymore.
A correction may allow us to improve the color, shape, or overall appearance without complete removal.
Sometimes Removal Is The Best Option
I know that's not always what people want to hear, but sometimes it's the truth.
If the brows are very dark, heavily saturated, migrated, scarred, or the shape sits outside where a new brow should be, adding more pigment often makes the problem worse—not better.
In those cases, I may recommend saline removal, tattoo lightening, or laser removal before creating new brows.
My Goal Is Not To Sell You A Procedure
My goal is to help you make the best decision for your skin and your long-term results.
If that means a refresh, I'll tell you.
If that means a correction, I'll tell you.
And if I think removal is the better option first, I'll tell you that too.
Because beautiful brows start with an honest assessment—not a sales pitch.
Not sure what category your brows fall into? Schedule a consultation and I'll create a personalized treatment plan based on your existing permanent makeup, skin, and goals.
Am I Ready for a Color Boost Session?
Has it been awhile and you think you might need a touch up to refresh and revive your permanent makeup brows?

The color has faded 50% or more
Your brow color has shifted
Your brows lost their shape
You fill them in too often
