Does it hurt?

We do use topical anesthetics during all of our Semi-Permanent Makeup procedures. Although our clients, on average report minimal pain, 1/10 - 5/10, this all depends on the individual's ability to numb. We have had clients fall asleep during procedures from how relaxed they are & some clients who choose to opt out of using anesthetics.

How long does it last?

Brow Tinting | may last up to 1 week on the skin and 4 weeks on the brow hairs
 Brow Lamination | may last 4-8 weeks
 
Permanent Makeup | We recommend annual touch ups every 6-18 months depending on the technique, skin type, environment, and lifestyle

Are results guaranteed ?

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee results. Although most individuals can get the brows they've always wanted. There can be unforeseen circumstances that can arise with Permanent Makeup Procedures. Some people do not heal properly or reject the procedure and this is not to the fault of the individual or PMU Technician.

Question 4

"My brows are uneven, can you help?"

We as humans are born with asymmetry. Our brows are sisters, not twins. Although in some cases we can provide great symmetry, we can only work with what we are provided with. That being said, we will make your brows as even as physically possible but please have realistic expectations. We always draw and map your brows before we begin the procedure and will never proceed without your approval for the selected shape and color !

How do you select a color?

We take a look at the color of your natural brows, your skin undertone and overtone, and Fitzpatrick scale to help us choose color options to mix and prepare for you. We do select a couple options suitable for you to choose from.

Do you use Tattoo pigment for Permanent Makeup?

Accepted Answer

No. Permanent makeup pigments are not the same as tattoo pigments. They are designed with smaller molecules which allow them to gradually fade over time.

Is there anything I should know before the service?

We do require and recommend each client who is interested in any permanent makeup procedure to read the “Brow Quiz” page and Aftercare page to learn what to expect. There is a list of contraindications that will prevent an individual from getting the procedure done. If you have any questions about if you would be eligible to get the procedure done, please feel free to either book a video consultation OR email/message us to discuss your questions. It is vitally important that you disclose with us your medical conditions and/or medications (prescribed or over the counter) that you may be taking.

Are Powder Brows Better Than Microblading?

Not necessarily—it's less about which technique is "better" and more about which technique is best for your skin, lifestyle, and desired results.Powder Brows and Microblading are two different permanent makeup techniques that create different looks and may be suitable for different clients.Microblading uses a handheld tool to create fine hairstrokes that mimic natural brow hairs. It is often chosen by clients who want a very natural-looking enhancement.Powder Brows use a machine shading technique to create a soft, pixelated effect that resembles lightly filled-in makeup. Does Permanent Makeup Fade Completely?

Permanent makeup is designed to fade over time, but whether it fades completely depends on several factors, including the technique used, your skin type, lifestyle, aftercare, sun exposure, how your body retains pigment, and how your body metabolizes pigment.In general, most permanent makeup procedures—including Powder Brows, Nano Brows, Microblading, Combination Brows, Lip Blushing, and Permanent Eyeliner—will gradually soften and lighten over the years. However, it is important to understand that does not always mean the pigment will disappear completely.Many clients will still have some residual pigment visible in the skin, even years later. In some cases, the color may become very light and barely noticeable. Can Old Microblading Be Covered?

Sometimes yes—and sometimes no.One of the most common misconceptions about permanent makeup is that old Microblading can always be covered with new brows. The truth is, it depends on what's currently in the skin.When evaluating old Microblading, I look at several factors, including:✔️ How much pigment is still visible✔️ The current shape and placement✔️ The healed color✔️ Skin condition and scar tissue✔️ Whether the previous work has migrated or blurredIf the Microblading has faded significantly and the shape is still workable, it may be possible to refresh or cover the existing work using techniques such as Powder Brows, Nano Brows, or Combination Brows.However, if the old Microblading is too dark, heavily saturated, discolored, migrated, or sits outside where a new brow should be, adding more pigment can actually make the problem worse.In these cases, I may recommend saline removal, tattoo lightening, or laser removal before performing additional permanent makeup.Every set of brows is different, which is why I never make recommendations based on photos alone.
