Course Description

📍 Location: Springfield, MA Ready to level up your skills and master the powder brow technique? This 3-day hands-on training is designed to teach you the pixelated ombré powder brow method — one of today’s most requested PMU styles. Whether you’re brand-new or a working artist ready to refine your technique, you’ll get the confidence, knowledge, and support you need to deliver flawless, soft-shaded results. Training Dates: March 5th – 7th, 2026 🕙 10 AM – 5 PM* (Subject to Change) • 3 Days of Intensive Hands-On Instruction 💰 Tuition: $1,300 Reserve your seat with a $350 non-refundable deposit, applied toward your total. An invoice will be emailed to you 24 hours after enrollment for your remaining balance. The remaining $950 is due 2 weeks before in-person training. Payment plan options are available—please contact us for details. 🧠 What You’ll Learn Proper machine setup, depth, and hand motion for pixel shading Brow mapping, shaping, and color theory fundamentals How to achieve smooth, gradient powder brows on various skin types Practice on synthetic skins before performing on a live model Client consultation, aftercare, and business guidance 🧰 Optional Student Kit ($350) We keep tuition affordable by making kits optional! You may bring your own machine/supplies or purchase our curated kit that includes: Wireless PMU machine • 20 needle cartridges • Jo’s favorite pigments • anesthetic • mapping tools • brow mapping tools • practice skins • manual/workbook • and more. A “must-have supply list” will be emailed within 48 hours of registration. 👩‍🎨 Live Model Experience On day 3, each student will perform a powder brow procedure on a live model under direct supervision of Joanna Santiago, AAM Board-Certified Trainer. Students must bring their own model (assistance available with advance notice). You may also return to perform your model’s touch-up free of charge. ⚖️ Requirements All students must complete an OSHA-approved Bloodborne Pathogen Certification before training and submit proof prior to working on models. No prior experience is required—just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn! 💼 Ongoing Support After completion, students gain exclusive access to our studio’s daily bed rentals—a professional, licensed environment to continue building confidence, clientele, and income without the burden of overhead.
