What is Permanent Jewelry, anyway?

Introduction

Permanent jewelry is a new trend in the jewelry industry that's buzzing all over social media. Here's what to know before you get in on it.

Permanent jewelry is a new trend in the jewelry industry. Here's what to know before you get in on it.

Permanent jewelry is the perfect way to express yourself. No more worrying about taking off your jewelry or losing it, because you won't be taking this off! It's also great for those who want something dainty and delicate. No clasp means no struggling with a tiny little hook for hours on end!

We all want to wear cute things but don't want to deal with changing them every day (or even once in a while). Permanent jewelry lets you do that: there's no need for clasps or hooks, so your hands will thank you later.

This trend is growing in popularity because of how easy it is: no more fumbling around trying to get a bracelet back on — just get it on and go!

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF PERMANENT JEWELRY?

There are many different types of permanent jewelry.

  • Custom fit anklets, necklaces, and bracelets.

  • You can even stack them if you wanted to.

They're created with quality metals we source directly from jewelers including 14k gold filled and sterling silver.

ARE THERE BENEFITS TO CHOOSING PERMANENT JEWELRY?

  • Permanent jewelry is a great alternative to traditional jewelry.

  • It's safe and painless.

  • You can express yourself with customized permanent jewelry.

  • The type of metal and charms or connectors can be customized, too! This way, you'll get the perfect piece for your style—and make sure it lasts forever!

  • Have an experience that's memorable with someone special in your life by getting permanent jewelry together (and if it's not as fun as you thought it would be, don't worry—you're still married).

And if all else fails: at least you won't have to spend a lot of money on those expensive engagement rings anymore!

Is Permanent Jewelry Painful?

Micro-welding is a highly advanced technique that uses a laser to make a precise weld between two metals. The actual process of micro-welding the jewelry takes seconds, and you won't feel a thing. Permanent jewelry is very comfortable and can be worn for extended periods of time without any discomfort.

What to Expect During Your Permanent Jewelry Consultation

Once you come in, we can choose from the available selection of 14k gold filled and sterling silver chain. You can also choose to add charms and connectors from our current selection to customize the look of your custom jewelry piece.

We then custom fit the chain to your neck, ankle or wrist to your liking. Once you love the fit, we will micro-weld the chain which takes just a second and is pain-free! And you are ready for daily wear! The whole process can take 10-30 minutes depending on how many pieces you're getting. The actual micro "spark" takes a second!

Permanent Jewelry is called "permanent" because it is applied without a clasp. Take care of your jewelry because jewelry is still jewelry and it is not indestructible. If you would like to get it removed you can come back to use or you can simply use a pair of scissors or wire cutters to cut at the jump ring and save the chain to be put back on later

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

The cost of your piece of jewelry will vary depending on the type of chains and charms you choose, what style of jewelry you want (necklace, anklet, or bracelet), and whether or not you choose to have it made out of solid gold. If you want a more expensive option with more bling , then go for a solid gold piece. These are by pre-order only.

How Do I Care For My Permanent Jewelry?

One of the most important things you can do to care for your permanent jewelry is to clean it regularly. This will help keep the color bright and prevent any grime from building up.

  • Clean with a jewelry polishing cloth.

  • Use a cleansing wipe gently (these are usually alcohol-free) or toothpaste if that's what you have handy! Just make sure not to tug at the chain because this could cause damage over time or result in breaking your chain!
